Year One and Two Highlights

We have had a fantastic week innovating our story map ‘The  paper bag princess’. We then rehearsed our story as a whole class. In Maths, we have learnt to compare different amounts of objects using the symbols < , > and =. Also, this week we had the opportunity showcase our fantastic drawings of our TLAP and home family in assembly. We learnt the importance of the word ‘community’ and how we can work together to help others.

In RE this week Year 2 learnt what Sikhs do when they visit the Gurdwara. Experts in each class showed the rest of the children how to remove their shoes and cover their heads before going inside and then how to bow to show respect to the Guru Granth Sahib.
