Nursery Highlights

In Nursery we have started our new topic ‘Rachel Bright’. We discussed how she is an author, and what an author does. We have looked at the different books she has written, which include our new text ‘Free Range Freddy’, and have listened to her read one of her stories online. The children have enjoyed exploring different activities, like making a big hen using natural resources and looking at different feathers. We also had fun celebrating Diwali, where we made Rangoli patterns using pasta, rice, raisins and coloured powder paints, lanterns and divas. Mrs Juttla came to visit us to tell us how she celebrates and we had fun dancing to some music too!
