The Langley Academy Trust, who sponsor The Langley Academy Primary, Parlaunt Park Primary and The Langley Academy (secondary) are committed to developing ‘A school for life’. This means enhancing the education for pupils 3 – 18 years, within the local area. To meet this aim, we know that offering good early years education is vital, therefore, we are opening a sessional nursery.

The Nursery will be staffed by a teacher and qualified Level 3 Early Years staff, we will provide a high staff: pupil ratio to ensure we can deliver a child centred curriculum, that meets the needs of the children and promotes Curiosity, Exploration and Discovery.

What age can children start TLAP’s nursery class?

Children can start nursery from the term after their third birthday. Therefore, for admission to the Nursery in September 2016, children should be born between 1st September 2012 and 31st August 2013.

How much does Nursery cost?

A 15 hour session, that is 08:30 – 11:30 or 12:30 – 15:30  (Monday – Friday, term time only) is free, as it is funded by the government.

Many families have requested full-time nursery education spaces for their children. To meet this need, we are offering an additional session and lunch, providing care from 08:30 – 15:30. There will be an additional cost of £75 per week for this service.

Where will the nursery class be?

The Nursery will be inside the new Langley Academy Primary building and will be the first visible classroom as you enter the school. The children will also have access to a dedicated outside area.
