Reception Highlights

This week reception have been learning all about identity. We have explored different types of head coverings people from different religions wear. The children loved trying on the patterned hijabs and hats on Wednesday which are linked to our new class text – The Proudest Blue!

Reception have also been busy sharing their own hobbies and learning about others’. The teachers around the school shared their hobbies too which included dancing, hockey crochet, photography and weightlifting! The children have really grasped how to use a 5 frame in maths! They are able to identify quantities that have more or less and can even tell you when amounts are equal!
