Reception Highlights

This week we have loved being back at school and learning all about Space! We have been gaining inspiration from our text ‘How to catch a star’ by coming up with our own ways to catch the star, such as climbing on a butterfly, using a net, using a giant ladder or using a space rocket! We have also been learning about the Sun and the moon, we especially enjoyed learning about the different phases of the moon using biscuits to show a full moon, half moon, crescent moon and a new moon. We have also been experimenting with rockets, using bottles, water and a pump to see how far we can get the rocket to blast off into space!
