Year one have continued to learn about different types of weather. They have innovated their story maps, ready for their hot task writing next week and they have been working hard practising how to measure length. In preparation for their phonics screening, which will be later on in the year, you can help your children by listening to your child read every day.

This week the children in Year 2 started work on fractions. In the first lesson they had the opportunity to make shapes and cut them into parts, explaining how many parts there were and compare the parts to make sure that they were all equal.
