This week has been a very busy week in Year 3. In Art, the children have begun to create their own cave paintings on rocks. In Science, we have been looking at the skeletal system and the muscles in our body. The children have enjoyed understand why we need bones and muscles. The most exciting thing we have done this week is our Archaeology Day where the children became archaeologist for the day and took part in digs and found out more about our topic of Stone Age to Iron Age.

This week, Year 4 have had great fun creating ideas for ways to take over the school, which they then applied to their Talk for Writing topic of writing instructions. In Maths, the children have continued work with fractions, including adding and subtracting. Also, this week the children learnt about how to stay safe around water in PSHE. Also, we had a visitor from the secondary school, share real-life Roman artefacts with the children, to help build on analytical skills in history.
