Reception Highlights

This week in Reception we have been continuing our work on ‘Handa’s Surprise’. We have started to change our story maps so that instead of African animals taking the fruit, we have been thinking about Arctic animals that could take the food instead such as Polar bears, Arctic Foxes and Beluga Whales! It really helped that we were able to go out and play in the snow! We have been learning about 3D shapes in Maths, identifying their properties and finding them in our classrooms. We were also very lucky to have a Holi dance workshop where we learnt a traditional Bollywood dance!
