On Tuesday, Year 3 participated in a Geography Discovery Day where they got to do fieldwork and create their own maps of Langley. In Maths, they have been continuing with measurement and have started to look at perimeter. In English, we have started our new topic on descriptive settings and in Science they have looked at how muscles worked. During History this week, the children explored how clothing changed from the Stone Age to the Iron Age and discussed what clothing they would have preferred.

In Science, Year 4 have made water cycles in a bag and observed what they could see happening. In Maths, they have finished their work on fractions and started to explore decimals. The freeflow projects are almost finished and the children are very excited to present their work next week. Also, the children have started on their designs for making a model of a Roman catapult in DT.
