‘Ready, Steady, go’ in Nursery

Nursery are enjoying our new topic ‘Ready, Steady, go’. We have been speaking about where we might hear these words and what they mean. We have listened to our new story ‘The Gingerbread Man’, learnt new vocab words, like ‘lapping’ and we described ginger, by smelling, looking and feeling it. We have been making the most of the sunny weather, by painting with iced paint and putting our feet in the paddling pool to keep us cool. Some children enjoyed making big sandcastles and seeing if we could make a double sandcastle, by putting one on top of the other. We discussed which sandcastles were ‘taller’ and ‘wider’.
