Year Five head back 3,000 yearsBack
Heading back three thousand years, Year 5 have explored the art and storytelling of the Ancient Greeks. Using DIY scratch paper, we’ve created our own orange and black scenes, similar to those decorated on vases and other pottery. We’ve also deconstructed the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur, examining the structure of the story and the various grammatical techniques used. In Maths, we have been locating points in the first quadrant, considering the relevance of each digit within a pair of coordinates.
