Nursery Highlights

Nursery have started their new text called ‘All are Welcome’ and have been learning new vocab like ‘diversity’ and ‘community’. We have read our book and have noticed how the book looks like our school, with all of us coming from backgrounds and believing in different things. Some children have enjoyed the mud kitchen this week, mixing up some wonderful creations using mud, grass and leaves. The children have been participating in listening activities where they had to remember which sound went with which action, and then move their body in that way. We have also been learning how we can make music with our bodies by using different parts, and the children experimented clapping, humming, stamping and even beatboxing.
