Year One and Two HIghlights

In Year 1 this week, the children have enjoyed baking Rainbow cakes. They measured out the ingredients carefully and Mr Langford judged each cake. In Science, we have been finding out about the common features of different types of animals and started to make comparisons.

Year 2 have been learning their new story map in English this week and looking at the different parts of a story. They have also been working really hard with their Maths. They have been practicing their number bonds to 10 and using that to help them add 3 one-digit numbers together. In Science, they were inventing mythical creatures and designing habitats for them that had everything their creature would need to survive.
