Year One and Two HIghlights

This week, Year 1 have started their new story ‘Little Albatross,’ by Michael Morpurgo. The children enjoyed exploring the mysterious bird that appeared at school on Monday. We have continued to develop out subtraction skills in Maths, using a number line. In Design and Technology, we have explored different fruit and have started planning and designing our own fruit kebabs.

In ICT this term, Year 2 have been looking at how to use cameras safely by studying invertebrates in the playground. This week in Science, the children extended their knowledge by studying microhabitats and investigating what minibeasts they could find in each one.
