Year Three and Four Highlights

We have had a busy and exciting week in Year 3! We discovered a mysterious cave in our breakout. Inside were animal bones and many cave paintings to explore. We have continued our learning about Prehistory and have compared clothing from the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages and discussed how they were made.

This week, Year 4 have been investigating the last parts of the water cycle, which are precipitation and run-off. The children enjoyed using shaving foam to simulate the clouds and used food colouring to observe the ‘rain’ in a cup. Also, this week, the children were audience to the Eton College Brass band. The children were amazed by the talent and really enjoyed listening to their music.
