Nursery and Reception Highlights

Nursery have continued with their text ‘Cave Baby’. We have been looking at the cave people who used to live in caves, their clothes, the cave paintings they did and the animals which were around then. We discussed what the paintings looked like and how they made them. The children in Nursery will be starting P.E after Easter on Friday’s. Please ensure that they have a P.E. kit and wear it into Nursery every Friday. These need to have the school logo on the purple hoodie, school logo purple t shirt and plain black jogging bottoms or school logo jogging bottoms. Please also ensure that their trainers do not have laces (unless your child can tie them up).

This week in Reception the children have been learning about Ramadan. They used computers and collage to make their own lanterns, stars and moons to celebrate. The children have also been working on writing number sentences and number bonds to 10. In English, the children discovered our equipment was missing! We had a big search around the school and wrote about how we got it all back!
