This week in Year 3, we experimented with water to measure capacity and volume. We imitated our playscript (which we did very well) and innovated a new version as a class. We learned the difference between translucent, transparent and opaque. On Friday, we celebrated and learned about the King’s Coronation.

It has been a very short week for Year 4, however they have still enjoyed a lot of learning this week. The children have continued their work on decimals, moving on from recognising them, to now using them to add and subtract from whole numbers. In Science, the children carried out an investigation to see how sound travels through different mediums and have gathered their research on Edinburgh and London into presentations on their devices. This week also saw the children learning all about King Charles III as this weekend the country celebrates the crowning of a new monarch. We have seen an increased engagement with TTRS, so thank you to all families with this support.
