Year Five and Six Highlights

It has been a busy last week of the term for Year 5. The children worked very hard on their Hot Task creating a persuasive piece of writing to persuade a specific audience to become an astronaut, join the device programme or for children to have freedom on their packed lunches. In History, the children looked at why some people are remembered more than others and how they can be represented, and the sources can be interpreted.

Year 6 have had a busy final week of this term! This week we have had a great time with many debates around our RE topics including such big questions as “How was our world made?”, “Where does life come from?” and “Can Science and religion complement each other?” The children have made some excellent arguments in a respectful dialogue to better understand others perspectives.
