Year Five and Six Highlights

It has been another fantastic week in Year 5. The children enjoyed meeting their new teachers, classmates and learning environment ready for September. In Art, the children worked very hard when exploring a range of techniques to make their Greek inspired vases. The children enjoyed getting into their houses, celebrated their value and were very excited to create their banners in preparation for sports week - It was great to see the children collaborate across the years.

This week in Year 6, we having been having great fun with our sports week where we have competed in a variety of activities including Basketball, Cricket, Relay Race and a fun throwing game! Everyone has showed the great team spirit and good sportsmanship that we expect here at TLAP. In addition, this week we have been lucky enough to take part in an African workshop, where they have decorated traditional style masks and experienced some African music during their dance session.
