Nursery- This week Nursery have had a busy week continuing with their text ‘Sunflower Shoots and Muddy Boots. We have been looking at how we can look after our environment. The children looked at how rubbish can cause a lot of messy, germs and be harmful to animals. We then went on a litter pick around the playground and collected lots of rubbish. Some children then made posters about what people need to do with their rubbish. They came up with putting it in the bin and if you can’t find a bin then you should take it home with you. We also made a big bug house using logs, mud, sticks and leaves. We then collected some insects and place them in their new home!

Reception- In Reception the children have been learning about different job roles. This week we had visits from the midwife, a police officer and dentist. The children were very excited and had lots of questions to ask. We would like to say a big thank you to the dentist and dental nurse from Dental care Langley who very generously gifted each child a gift bag full of goodies. We ended the week with our graduation, we hope all the parents had a lovely time and enjoyed listening to the children’s singing. This week, Reception have had some special visitors come in to discuss their jobs. They met two midwives, a police officer, and two local dentists. The children were allowed to try out the equipment and even viewed the police car outside! Reception have also been practising their graduation songs – congratulations everyone on your huge achievement!
