Year One and Two Highlights

In Year 1 the children have enjoyed comparing the seasons of Spring and Summer in Science. They also considered how the sun’s position impacts on the length of the day and carried out an investigation to explore day and night. In ‘Talk for Writing’ the children have worked hard to write their own information leaflets about London Landmarks. In RE, the children have expanded on their learning of Islamic Mosques by using the VR headsets to step into different Mosques around the world.

This week Year 2 have enjoyed celebrating completing Key Stage 1 at their graduation. They demonstrated confidence and resilience when performing their graduation songs. The children were awarded for all their hard work and dedication this year. They are now looking forward to their next step at TLAP, beginning Key Stage 2.
