Year One and Two Highlights

This week Year 1 have enjoyed celebrating and learning about different cultures. We created artwork inspired by different artists from around the world, took part in a whole school parade, shared some special objects from home and created our own dances to a piece of music. In science, the children have been investigating how shadows are formed.

This week Year 2 have been exploring the difference between volume and capacity in maths. They had fun experimenting with different containers, they were able to see how different size containers hold the same amount of volume.
