This week in Year 3, we finished off our geography unit on Auvergne by learning about exports. We tasted all kinds of cheese from the region. Those of us who went to Kingswood caught up on our science learning about seed dispersal in plants, and the rest of us wrote poetry about celebrating diversity. Some of us made crème patisseries with a chef. On Wednesday, we celebrate Culture Day. Along with our school wide fashion show, we made flags, researched our countries of heritage and had a dance party to music from around the world.

Well, we are nearly there. The children in Year 4 have enjoyed another week of fun activities. In Science, they were applying their knowledge and skills of classification keys, using sweets! The best part for the children was getting to eat them! In English, the children are writing Kenning Poems, applying their descriptive techniques. Also this week, the children enjoyed watching the dress rehearsal of the Year 6 performance of Olivia. The children are looking forward to complete their art work next week.
