Year One and Two Highlights

Year 1 have settled in brilliantly and are working hard. They are showing great enthusiasm towards swimming and are eager to learn more and are growing in confidence in their learning. This week we have been learning all about names of body parts in Science, learnt all about the features of a castle and been practising our story map actions for ‘The Paper Bag Princess’. They have enjoyed exploring the history of castles and people from the past.

In Year 2, the children have been working on putting together a PowerPoint presentation on pirates. To help them, the children have been practicing their ICT skills using the IPads to help them locate the different keys on the keyboard.
