Nursery and Reception Highlights

Nursery- In Nursery this week, we have been reading our new story 'All are Welcome' by Alexandra Penfold. It is all about celebrating similarities and differences. We have been talking about our similarities and differences and being welcoming to anyone who comes into our classroom, by saying 'hello'. We have been practising counting this week, singing lots of counting songs. We have all been given a classroom responsibility, learning how to make playdough, taking the register to the office and care for our classroom and garden.

Reception- This week the children have been writing letters to a person of their choice to let them know what they enjoy doing at school. We have been comparing the amount, size and mass between 2 objects and learning new vocabulary in Maths. In Topic, the children have been drawing pictures of their families. Thank you again to everyone for sending in their family photos, the children have enjoyed sharing members of their families with their class.
