Year One and Two Highlights

Year 1 has had an excellent week of learning! In RE, the children have been learning about Islam and designed our own prayer mats as well as creating our own Islamic art. We have learned about life in the Medieval Ages. This involved learning about Medieval food and fashion! In Maths, we have been counting from a number and one more of a number. We have been finding this a little bit tricky, but we are persevering!

This term in RE, the children in Year 2 are learning about the main beliefs and practices of the Sikh faith. This week they acted out visiting a gurdwara, removing their shoes, covering their heads and bowing to pray to the holy book.
