Year One and Two Highlights

This week, Year 1 we have been working extra hard on our foundation subjects with R.E, History and Art mornings! It was our first time drawing royal self-portraits which were fabulous. A pumpkin also paid us a visit where we heard stories about dragons and turned into them ourselves. We have learnt some new songs in class and have had another great week of swimming.

In our DT lesson this week the children enjoyed making their boats. They used a variety of materials to put their boat together to ensure that it would float. Some children came across difficulties in cutting. sticking their materials together and had to re-think their designs.
