This week in Year 3, we continued our learning about refugees. We considered what objects we would bring with us in a backpack if we needed to flee our homes. In Geography, we learned about the types of settlements. We used different materials to make an aerial model of each type. In Science, we measured portion size of various foods using scales and estimation from the nutritional value labels. We began our new free flow projects, started a new unit in French and began the process of recording our own videos in Computing.

This week, Year 4 have enjoyed learning about the digestive system. They planned and carried out an investigation into how liquids can damage our teeth. In Maths, they have completed the module on addition and subtraction, and are looking forward to learning about Area next week. In Geography, they have continued to add to their case studies on Brazil. Well done to Maathai for another land-slide victory on TTRS, scoring a massive 2040 points! Come on Attenborough and Carver, you need to try harder next week!
