Nursery and Reception Highlights

Nursery

We are busy getting ready for our Christmas performance in Nursery. Whilst doing this, we are also busy learning our story map. This half term, we are learning what a 3-part story is and what happens in each part of the story. We were very excited this week to use the school Virtual Reality headsets to visit the New Forest and the Forest of Dean. The children were able to look around both forests and see the different trees.

Reception

This week we have been working hard on singing and practising our lines for the Nativity next week! We love that families are practising at home, please keep it up. We have been learning about positional language in Maths and have also enjoyed learning our new story map ‘The Koala Who Could’, relating to our topic learning about Australia!
