Year Five and Six Highlights

It has been another busy week in Year 5. In Science, the children learnt about air resistance and how it works. They were fascinated how surface area changes the amount of air resistance on the object. In RE, it was great to see how engaged the children were when learning about haram and halal. It was a second classes turn to make pizzas this week, it was amazing to see how great they all turned out.

This week in Year 6, we have continued to our projects such as starting to make Christmas themed cam toys that will move! In Maths, we have been learning how to apply our multiplication and division skills to fractions. In Writing, the children have finished their assessed balanced argument and are now looking at persuasive letters. Finally, in Science we have performed an experiment to identify the impact of exercise on heart rate, which includes learning to accurately take BPM measurements.
