This week in Year 3, we continued practising and writing our poetry map. We are excited to produce our final pieces of writing for the term. In science, we used the food diaries that we kept over the weekend to compare our diets to that of animals’ diets in captivity. We found a lot of differences, but some similarities, like bananas, too. We finished the week with our Christmas performance for our adults. It was lovely to see so many of you there!

This week, Year 4 have been consolidating all the work they have done this term. In Maths, the children have been completing their work on times-tables and division. In English, the children have applied all their knowledge of leaflets, and made their own leaflets on a foodbank of their choice. In Computing, the children have been finishing off their robots and have used Crumble kits to make them move and light up. In RE, the children have completed their topic on charity. In DT, the children have completed their food packaging. Well done to Carver for winning TTRS for the first time.
