Year One and Two Highlights

Alongside practicing for our Chinese New Year dance, we have been busy working on lots of wonderful things. We have been working hard on our place value and writing our own version of Jack and the Beanstalk. In addition to this, in Computing we have used the Bee-Bots to debug and write our own algorithms. We followed instructions to create shapes and then tried to make our own algorithms to create shapes.

This week, Year 2 had a great time visiting the Science Museum. The children visited the Space Room and enhanced their learning about space. They saw a model of Sputnik and the Soyuz - which Tim Peake used to travel back to Earth and why it had a parachute.
