Year Three and Four Highlights

This week in Year 3, the children learned about the significance of the seder plate and its contents for Jewish people during the festival of Passover. In Science, we researched and created exercises which targeted one of the five muscle groups we learned to identify. World Book Day was a success with lots of free flow activities for children to choose from within our Alice in Wonderland theme.

Year 4 have been working incredibly hard this week. In English, the children have continued to deepen their knowledge with instruction writing and innovated the text map with their imaginative ideas. They looked at measuring the temperature of water with a thermometer and timing the melting points of chocolate. In History, Year 4 have been learning about the Roman invasion of Britain and researched the tactics the Romans used.
