Attendance Advice

Attendance Advice - September 2021

It is compulsory for children to attend school. The Government have explained that as COVID-19 becomes a virus that we learn to live with, it is a national priority that education should continue to operate as normally as possible, throughout the pandemic. The Government expect schools to reduce the disruption to children’s education. As we know, children have faced disruption to their education since March 2020 and there is national concern that being out of education causes significant harm to educational attainment, life chances, mental and physical health.

It is the Government’s aim that schools remain open and deliver face-to-face, high-quality education to all pupils.

At TLAP, we welcome this and look forward to teaching the children, reinstating trips, visits and promoting collaborative learning.
