It has been a very busy week in Year 3. In Maths, we have continued our work on place value. In English, we have been learning our new text map as well as looking at literary features found in the text! In Science we have been looking at various types of rocks and how they are formed. Don't forget to watch the flipped classroom videos and continue learning your text map!

Another productive week in year 4. The children have coped really well with the timetable and all the lessons that they have taken part in. In English, they have started to look at all the features of a non-chronological report. The children have started to develop their summarising skills in reading and they have continued to strengthen their understanding of numbers up to 10,000! The highlight of the week was when the children tried some Japanese cuisine (all plant based) and some authentic Japanese tea. It was met with mixed opinions, but it was an experience that will help the children understand Japanese culture.
