Year One and Two Highlights

The week started off very peculiar in Year One. A giant beanstalk had magically appeared along with the random bellows of a Giant from above that scared us all to death. This lead us to learning a new story map based on the story ‘Jack and the beanstalk’. We also began our new topic ‘Plants’ in Science and planted our very
own beanstalks.

It was really lovely to welcome the children back in Year 2 and hear all their stories from their time off. The new topic for this term is Lunar Landing and the children started the topic by drawing the solar system, making parachutes, following instructions to make paper aeroplanes and making rockets.
