Making Every Moment Count in Years 3 and 4

This week, Year 3 have continued their work in maths on time, understanding and calculating durations of time. Billinghurst celebrated Rosa Billinghurst’s birthday, learning about gender and equality and rights to vote. They designed rosettes and posters and performed a peaceful protest in the classroom.

This week, Year 4 have been working exceptionally hard to improve their times tables recall. We are certain the children will make us, you and them proud of their commitment to learning all their times tables! We have also researched food from around the world. Year 4 discussed the prices, nutritional values and compared them to other food! This links to our new Talk4Writing unit- where we are discussing the inspirational work of Marcus Rashford.
