Highlights from Year Three and Four

Our Year 3 Artists, have been looking at the work an artist called Elizabeth Catlett. She used her art to get people to pay attention to issues that were important to her; such as the Civil Rights Movement. We created our own portraits, which we transferred onto a lino tile before printing our portraits.

It has been a busy week in Year 4. The children have been looking at statistics and working with pictographs and line graphs. In English, the children have been looking at the Snoozetron and explaining how it works. Their final hot tasks will be about an explanation of their own inventions. Excitingly, in Design and Technology, the children have finally completed our African Instruments. It has been a busy term and we hope that everyone has a restful half term.
