Year Five and Six Highlights

What an exciting first week back for Year 5! The children have been super busy diving into their tasks. They've been working hard, remembering things they learned in Year 2 and even picking up the names of planets in French! We also used virtual reality to blast off into space together.

In our first week back in the Summer Term, Year 6 have hit the ground running as we continue to prepare for the upcoming SATs exams. Our topic this term is on Darwin’s Evolution and therefore we will be studying his book ‘The Origin of Species’ as well as an adventure text called Darwin’s Dragons. The PDF of these books are on the Year 6 Teams files if any of the children would like to read the book at home. In Writing, we are going to writing an adventure narrative story.
