Nursery and Reception Highlights

This week in Nursery we have been learning our new story map, making sure we are using fantastic story telling voices to make the poem exciting to listen to. We have also been learning the actions to bring our poem to life. We have been making the most of the hot weather, playing with water and splashing each other!

What a busy week Reception have had. We went on our trip to Black Park, where the children got to explore the park and listen to Mr Geer read them a story called the ‘Curious Garden’. In PHSE, we have been learning about what makes us all unique. The children will have a class talent show next week to show their peers all their lovely talents. In Maths, the children have been learning the composition of numbers 11-20 and the different ways to make those numbers. The children have been enjoying the lovely warm weather and playing in the garden.
