Nursery and Reception Highlights

This week, the weather has meant lots of fun in the sun, exploring water, searching for bugs and building obstacle courses to practise our climbing skills. Nursery have been building boats and houses out of giant cardboard boxes and working together as teams to build jigsaws, working on talking to each other and sharing.

This week in Reception, the children have been enjoying the lovely warm weather. We have planted many seeds in our garden and the children are doing a great job taking care of their plants. In T4W, the children have been writing a biography on Greta Thunberg. They have learnt many facts about her and were able to recall which country she is from, who she lives with at home and how she prefers to travel. In Maths, the children have been learning about tangrams and making their own tangrams which was fun to do.
