Year Three and Four Highlights

This week Year 3 have continued to learn and imitate their story map in English. In Science, the children have learnt the differences between the properties of translucent, transparent and opaque materials. In Geography they learnt all about the French region of Augervene. In Art they explored Greek patterns and textures. We all look forward to another week of learning!

This week in Geography, Year 4 have continued to use Digimaps to explore different areas around the UK. We learned that, in many cases, the population density of a city can help determine whether it is a capital city. In Science, we practiced using classification keys and created our own. We also had a go at write our story map, creating digital collages and maths using decimals.
