Nursery and Reception Highlights

This week in Nursery, we have been learning all about Josephine Baker. We have read a biography about Josephine Baker and her life. We have also been talking a lot about ourselves, sharing what we know with our partner. We have been having some messy fun and explored different vegetables and how to chop them.

In PSHE, the children in Reception have been learning about people who help us in our community as well as the role of an engineer and architect. The children were set a challenge, to work as a group to build a bridge using paper cups, paper straw, elastic bands and lollipop sticks. It was a very competitive lesson as the children all wanted to build the strongest bridge!
