Sunflowers, Sharing and Super Helpers: Nursery & Reception

This week, we have started our last half term in Nursery. Our week has started with a new class text, ‘Sunflower Sisters’ by Monika Singh Gangotra. We have planted our own sunflower each, which we will watch grow in the next few weeks. We are busy gardening, learning all about plants and how they grow. We are also working hard to be as independent as possible, ready for September.

In PSHE this week, Reception have been learning about people who help us. They enjoyed learning about different types of jobs and dressed up and acted out some of their chosen jobs. In Maths, the children have been learning to share equally and enjoyed having a teddy bear’s picnic.
