Parisian Treats and Pop Art Beats: Year 3 & Year 4
Back
This week, Year 3 have enjoyed exploring their new key text 'A walk in Paris.' They tasted French cheeses and enjoyed sweet treats. They have already begun their studies of famous Parisian landmarks and will be making their first story map very soon.
We have had an eventful start in Year 4! The children continued their learning about Boudicca’s rebellion against the Romans and comparing Edinburgh and London from last term, but started new topics in Science and RE. We discovered that all sound is caused by vibration – even if you can’t see it happening. We made collages in art using devices and physical materials inspired by pop artist Eduardo Paolozzi. The children also learned about how to protect their information online, played memory games and have done plenty of practice for their MTC next week.
