Year 3 & Year 4: Sunshine, Science and Sports Day Prep

This week, Year 3 enjoyed the summer sunshine. In free flow they learnt different techniques of painting using a paintbrush. In Science, they dissected plants and labelled them. They then conducted a celery experiment using coloured water. In preparation for sports day, they designed their house flags!

This week in Year 4, children completed their summer PIXL assessments in reading, maths and grammar. We were impressed with their focus and determination through this. In RE, we discussed Hindu worship at home. The children explored how different parts of a home shrine accessed all the senses. In Science, children learned about the anatomy of our ears and how they work.
