Nursery & Reception: Sunshine, Sandcastles & Super Learning!

This week in Nursery, we have been learning about giving and following instructions. We have taken advantage of the hot weather and have been exploring water and different ways to move it from one place to another. We had fantastic fun at the summer fair and sports day!

This week we went on our trip to Ruislip Lido; we all had a wonderful day. The children built sandcastles, went on a train ride, played on the pirate ship, and had an ice lolly treat at the end of the day! In Maths, the children have been learning how to ‘Double’ using various maths resources. We have been continuing to practise writing the numbers the correct way. In History, we learnt about the Great Fire of London and how it destroyed many homes but helped stop the plague and led to safer buildings being built.
