In Maths, Year 3 worked hard telling the time by learning how to read analogue time. In Science they learnt all about how leaves help plants through photosynthesis. In English, they focused on improving their writing skills by learning possessive apostrophes and when to use them and imitating their story map. In History they learnt all about how the Greeks influenced mathematics, science, and medicine.

It has been a hot week in school but the children have worked well and not allowed the heat to stop their learning. In Computing, Year 4 were learning how to record and manipulate different sounds using their devices. In Maths, they finished off their learning with money and in English, the children were applying their new vocabulary to writing short reports on different sporting events. In Free-flow, the children begun work on their stop-animation, creating their backdrops and characters. The week was capped off with a superb display of athleticism with the children competing in a variety of races.
