Year 3 & 4:Rocks, Evaporation & E-Safety

This week, Year 3 have been learning about the different types of rocks and how they are formed. They have sorted rocks into the correct classifications and understand the reasons why.

This week in Year 4, the children investigated evaporation in Science. They filled measuring cups with 100ml of water and covered half of them. Then, predictions about which would allow more evaporation to occur were made. The children observed the changes over time and noted their findings. We continued lessons on E-Safety, learning how to keep ourselves safe online and on our new devices. We visited our library, and all children signed out books – make sure to check out what your child has brought home!
