We have had a fantastic week in Year 3! In Geography we have been exploring the seven continents. In History, the children have been looking back to the Stone Age and how people moved from being nomadic and living in caves to more permanent housing made from wood, clay and stone. In PSHE, we have been learning about laws and the importance these carry.

This week in Year 4, the children expanded their knowledge of the water cycle by focusing on condensation and precipitation. They took turns writing and drawing their observations. In Talk for Writing, the children began writing their own innovations of a setting description. The children learned about the significance of the Nile River in Ancient Egypt and created their own models of the irrigation system used to grow crops.
